Puketaha alterations
A large addition and full renovation took place to transform the existing '90s family home from classic to contemporary living. This involved nearly a full demolition down to the concrete floor slab, new roofing, trusses, and substantial additions! The ceiling height throughout the house was also raised from 2400 to 2550.
The new high-level gable window in the entry allows light to stream into the entrance, new kitchen space, and the heightened lounge space. A contemporary finish was added to the home through the vertical shiplap timber weatherboard and a smooth screed finish to the existing brick veneer.
